Unterschänke in Wierschem

Always nice a place of Peace, freedom and adventure rolled into one awakened! An experience for young and old! The history of the castle is a lot interesting and worth knowing! Anyone who has ever been here will come also again ! Certainly ?

For a break after a long run meters, the Unterschänke offers good. On well-visited days you are just forever, unfortunately, it takes a long time until you have food on the tray and the payment has gone through. Since the seats are small, you have to just ask if something is free somewhere. But this has the advantage that you get into conversation with others, so it also has advantages. The food was delicious, but in my opinion too expensive.

Very nice place, good inexpensive offers, wonderful view, friendly staff ! A must for everyone Castle fans.

Great in summer heat. The big tree makes shade and the seats are very comfortable.

Everything wonderful and always happy! Very nice seating with a wonderful view. Very nice and helpful staff who do everything in their power to satisfy the customer. The prices may be a bit higher, but stay within limits, especially for the tasty food.

Friendly staff. The sandwiches were freshly prepared and were delicious. The latte was good too. For the cups you have to pay a deposit of 4 euros. There is plenty of seating and you have a nice view.

The second self-service restaurant on Burg Eltz has the somewhat "upscale" menu. Ricotta cake with smoked salmon and other small treats. Unfortunately it was so full that we did not get a seat.

Good coffee, super freshly made bread rolls, great views, friendly staff, money for deposit, 4 € per cup.

Were there yesterday. Unfortunately very crowded and no tables free. We then decided to eat at the Oberschänke.

We enjoyed it for a little rest. It's just a tavern. You should not expect more. Everyone can find something here for a quick snack. Therefore, who decides, should not expect a restaurant level. Definitely a nice castle location.
